I'm confused. What conjugation form is Mitenai? It's not the te form, it's not the negative nai form, what is it? I can't find it in a list of co jugation forms for miru....I've checked many websites. please help. Very confused.

While this game isn't my cup of tea, I still watched the whole thing. Extremely good content in these game walk-throughs! I find the most helpful part being your breakdown of each sentence and explaining the meaning. This is still where I struggle the most with Japanese : I will know all the words and grammar points, but fail to understand it as a complete Japanese thought. Your breakdowns help me with that and hopefully eventually I'll break thru this problem

As a straight male I have stayed away from otome games. I don’t mind bishoujo. BUT! For language learning, if I can get past the cringe, it looks like otome might be better as it’s more male voices and language. Thoughts?

I don't understand how japenese people choose which form to say, other than say obvious ultra polite form in very formal conversations perhaps business meetings or w/e, but otherwise.. how do people choose between nachya , nakuchya , and naito if all are really casual??? or do they just flip flop at a whim based on whatever comes to teh brain? In other words... is there an intentional rhyme or reason or is just whatever you feel like using in the moment?
